Goals and Objectives of the Faculty of Computer Science

The purpose of developing the Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Computer Science is to accelerate and enhance the quality of higher education processes, enabling the faculty to contribute effectively to addressing the challenges and problems faced by society. By adhering to its established values, vision, and standards, the faculty strives to educate competent, professional, and highly qualified graduates who can play a significant role in community development and problem-solving.

To achieve its values and vision, the Faculty of Computer Science will pursue the following objectives over the next five years:

• Establish academic and research programs that meet national and international standards.
• Provide standard facilities, physical resources, and necessary equipment for the effective implementation of various academic and specialized programs.
• Attain comprehensive institutional autonomy to deliver high-quality services in higher education.
• Develop a transparent, accountable, and effective system for higher education administration and management.
• Identify societal challenges through scientific research and propose appropriate solutions to address them.
• Effectively represent the faculty before the Ministry of Higher Education, provincial authorities, donors, development partners, and other supporting organizations and individuals, while strengthening constructive relationships with them.
• Educate and prepare qualified professionals in various fields in accordance with contemporary needs and demands.
• Contribute to the promotion of the rule of law, the provision of justice, economic growth, and security through higher education.
