General management of Finance and Accounting Affairs

The General management of Finance and Accounting Affairs was approved in the institutional structure in 1397. The general responsibilities of this management include monitoring the implementation of both the operational (recurrent) and development budgets, preparing needs-assessment plans for these budgets, and establishing effective financial and accounting systems. It is also responsible for preparing budget transfer documents, managing student stipend (subsistence allowance) payments, and performing other related financial duties. Under the structure of the General management of Finance and Accounting Affairs, there are two additional management units:

The first is the Academic Records Clearance and Budget Management, whose core responsibilities include requesting budget allocations from the Ministry of Higher Education, monitoring allocated budgets, and submitting proposals for addressing budget shortfalls during the fiscal year.

The second is the Payments and Payroll Management, which is mainly responsible for processing monthly salaries, overtime payments, and honoraria for academic staff, administrative personnel, and service employees of the university.
